our process

Communication between designer and client is the key to a successful, fruitful, and ongoing relationship.
At Cagedlight we are here to meet the visual design needs of you, our client. That means we need to understand what those are, what your expectations are, and respond with good design. Expectations therefore, need to be communicated and understood by both parties.

For any and all design work there are key stages.
1. Initial communications regarding what you, the client, are needing.
2. This leads to our planning stage where we take your needs and expectations and turn them into an idea with structure, goals and time frame.
3. This is then reviewed and clarified with you the client.
4. Then, at the end, is the delivery and a you're a happy client.
Depending on the size of the project there may be a number of review times between planning and delivery to make sure your needs and expectations are being met.

At Cagedlight there are key communication lines between you, the client, and we, the designers. There is always a lead designer assigned to a project and there is always a back up designer there to double check and make objective criticisms. As well as this, there is of course, the various administrative and financial communications which we aim to make prompt and clear. Key considerations for every project are budget, time frame, technical requirements, and of course the visual look.
